Pulsaris AI, a Taiwan-based AI startup focused on developing advanced artificial intelligence models for Electronic Design Automation (EDA), has announced the completion of its seed funding round, raising over US$6.1M. The round was led by Top Taiwan Venture Capital, with co-investment from the National Development Fund, and included participation from the management team and several industry veterans. The raised funds will be primarily allocated to the development of AI-centric EDA software. Our goal is to break through existing technical bottlenecks by further optimizing and enhancing the quality of layouts generated by current tools.
Currently, there are very few homegrown EDA companies in Taiwan; their combined output accounts for less than 0.1% of the total EDA market value, and they rarely address mainstream EDA products. Pulsaris AI is committed to developing innovative products that integrate AI with EDA. This initiative aims to open a new chapter for Taiwan’s EDA industry and lay a solid foundation for future product lines.
